Readers invited to join the BD team and TP Bennett at architect’s latest project
BD is hosting its latest tweet-up with a special focus on interiors on Monday November 24.
The BDInteriors event will be held at WeWork’s new office at the newly re-opened Sea Containers House in central London which was designed by the interiors team at architect TP Bennett.
TP Bennett is one of the finalists in BD’s Architect of the Year awards in the interiors architect of the year category.
WeWork is a community-based business that rents out office space to small and medium-sized businesses in 23 locations around the world. The newly refurbished Sea Containers House, on the south bank of the River Thames, is their newest location.
The office has been designed by TP Bennett to appeal to the young, creative firms that use WeWork’s services. The event will be hosted in the community area which has a bar and a terrace with views over the Thames.
The evening will be a great opportunity to hear more about new ways of working and how interior designers are responding to this agenda. It will be also a good opportunity to meet like-minded interiors professionals and the BD team.
The event will feature a talk from Doug Smith, principal director at TP Bennett. He will explain what type of spaces and facilities WeWork needed to appeal to its community and how the interiors team at TP Bennett responded to the brief.
The event starts at 6.30pm at Sea Containers House, 22 Upper Ground, London SE1 9PD.
The tweet-up is free but you must register to attend at http://vite.io/BDInteriorsTweetUp. Share the link with your colleagues on Twitter using #BDTweetUp to ensure they don’t miss out.
