USITT Theatre Architecture Award
The United States Institute of Theatre Technology (USITT) Architecture Commission is calling on Architects from around the world to submit their theatre projects for the prestigious USITT Architecture Award.
For 20 years the USITT Architecture Award has been the only Architecture Award to exclusively honor excellence in Theatre Architecture. Any Theatre project COMPLETED in the World after 1 January 2003 is eligible.
The 2012 winners have included:
The high tech and complex, AT&T Performing Arts Center Dee & Charles Wyly Theatre, Dallas, Texas, by REX/OMA Architects and the simple, BodyVox Dance Center, Portland, Oregon, by BOORA Architects and The Royal Shakespeare & Swan Theatres Transformation, Stratford upon Avon, United Kingdom, by Bennetts Associates.
