Bere Architects and Architype in running for Passivhaus Awards

Practices among seven to be shortlisted for inaugural event

Bere Architects and Architype are among seven practices shortlisted at the inaugural UK Passivhaus Awards.

Both firms have two projects in the running at the awards, which recognise the best Passivhaus projects in three categories – domestic, non-domestic and retrofit.

Green Building Store, Eurobuild, Parsons and Whittley, Paul Davis and Partners and Simmonds Mills Architects have all also been shortlisted in one of the categories.

The judging panel was chaired by Passivhaus Institute founder Wolfgang Feist. Winners will be announced at a ceremony on July 4th.

The shortlisted projects for this year’s awards are:

Domestic (sponsored by Beattie Passive)

Non Domestic

Retrofit (sponsored by St Gobain)
