Company understood to be preferred bidder for former News International headquarters in east London

Berkeley Group is understood to be the preferred bidder to buy the former home of News International in east London.

The company’s luxury homes arm, St George, which is also behind

Ian Simpson’s One Blackfriars development at the southern end of London’s Blackfriars Bridge, is believed to have offered £150 million for the site.
