Scheme will include market square and public library

CZWG is set to submit plans for the second phase of the redevelopment of Canning Town’s Rathbone Market in east London.

The work will include a new market square as well as 165 new homes, a public library and a community hub.

Adam West, partner at CZWG, said: “It is particularly exciting to be able to complete the proposed new market square. In combination with the rest of the public realm coming forward with this phase, and a new library, it will make a real difference to the enjoyment of the local environment.”

The scheme is being jointly developed by the Homes and Communities Agnecy, Muse Developments and Legal and General Property.
