Rathbone Market by CZWG
Second phase of Rathbone Market scheme will include library and space for traders
CZWG has won detailed planning permission for the second phase of the redevelopment of Canning Town’s Rathbone Market in east London.
The first phase, due to complete this summer, was for 271 homes.
Phase two includes two new public squares, one of which will contain purpose built facilities for the new Rathbone Market traders.
It will also see the delivery of 165 new homes - 42 of them affordable - a 1,000 sq m public library and community centre and 1,100 sq m of ground floor retail space.

I wonder which part of this scheme is the LIBRARY!?
I suppose where the word "LIBRARY" is stuck on the building is where the Library is. Otherwise, nobody would know.
Very 60's - 70's 'new town'.
Don't insult the New Towns. They were/are better than this hideous over-development right in the middle of London's East End, in a borough that is notorious for its housing problem and where only 42 so-called "affordable" dwellings are provided.
... and how about those north-facing balconies !
