Levitt Bernstein has been granted planning permission for the first phase of the £250 million Aberfeldy estate regeneration near the Olympic Park in east London.

Tower Hamlets approved the £40 million first phase of work, which includes 342 homes and retail space on the east end of the site, as well as giving outline planning permission for the rest of the estate.

Overall the project will provide 1,176 homes, shops, healthcare and community facilities over 12 years, with work divided into six phases.

Levitt Bernstein is working with Willmott Dixon’s development division Regen on the project and has formed a joint venture with housing association Poplar Harca.
