GMW Architects and Capita Symonds are among the firms that have flown into Tripoli on the first construction industry trade mission since the conflict.
British Expertise is leading a delegation of 10 firms, most of which have had previous experience of working in Libya.
The delegation was due to have meetings with government contacts including the housing and utilities ministry, which also covers sectors such as transport and infrastructure.
