101 apartments feature in high street development

Holder Mathias Architects has received planning approval for two apartment buildings on Hounslow High Street.

The scheme features a nine-storey block alongside a five-storey block, which will house 101 apartments with retail on the ground floor.

Kerry Lewis, director at Holder Mathias, said: “I am very pleased that our plans for the High Street gained unanimous backing from the council.

“The scheme presented us with some interesting urban design challenges, especially in view of the high density we wished to achieve. I am confident that this will be the first step in regenerating the area.”

The project is designed to achieve Level 4 of the Code for Sustainable Homes.
