Detailed plans for more than 500 homes due in this summer
Lend Lease has unveiled this image of how its Elephant & Castle regeneration scheme in south London will look when it is completed in 2025.
The £1.5 billion scheme will include 2,800 homes along with restaurants, shops and community facilities.
Among the architects working on the scheme is Make which is redeveloping the Heygate Estate and John McAslan which is behind a new leisure centre.
Lend Lease submitted an outline planning application to Southwark Council for the Heygate masterplan in the spring while detailed plans for more than 500 homes will go to planners later this summer.
Work on the first phases of the scheme are expected to begin next year.
