The London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC) has named eight architects for its architecture and urban design expert panel, which will help draw up plans for the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in east London.
Adams & Sutherland, Allies & Morrison, DRMM Architects, Karakusevic Carson Architects, Maccreanor Lavington, Meadowcroft Griffin Architects, Nord Architecture and Witherford Watson Mann Architects were all selected.
A second panel for landscape architecture includes East and Gustafson Porter.
The LLDC will now run mini competitions to the panels for projects including the design for a new canalside park and design guidance for the five new neighbourhoods.
Andrew Altman, chief executive of the LLDC, said: “The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park will be defined by high quality design running through the neighbourhoods, venues, parklands and public spaces.”
