City Tower will be 200m and River Tower 160m
KPF has won planning for its One Nine Elms development in Vauxhall.
The scheme, featuring two mixed-use towers of 58 and 43 storeys, will replace the 1970s Market Towers development.
It will be one of the first in the Vauxhall, Nine Elms and Battersea Opportunity Area to go ahead.
The plans include 487 homes, 51 of them affordable, an open space with retail units and a 209-room hotel.
John Bushell, principal at KPF, said: “This project is a fantastic opportunity to create a lively new place, providing homes, a hotel, offices, retail and a publicly accessible space at the top of the building.
“KPF has designed the scheme with slender vertical proportions to mark the threshold of the linear park which runs through the development area”.
