Deadline for submissions to RIBA closes at end of today
Nominations for the 2013 Royal Gold Medal should be submitted to the RIBA by the end of Thursday, June 28.
The annual awards recognise living architects or groups of architects for works of high merit or those who have promoted the advancement of architecture.
Last year’s winner was Herman Hertzberger. Previous winners have included David Chipperfield, I.M. Pei, Alvaro Siza Viera and Edward Cullinan.
This year’s jury is chaired by RIBA president Angela Brady and will include Niall McLaughlin, Sarah Wigglesworth, Yvonne Farrell and David Adjaye.
The winner will be announced at the October 2012 RIBA Council and will be presented at an event in London in February next year.
Details of how to submit a nomination can be found at the RIBA website.
