Work will be carried out over 10 years

John McAslan & Partners has been appointed to masterplan Manchester Science Parks in order to increase the amount of lettable space at the complex.

The masterplan will redraw 9.3 ha of MSP’s Corridor site - which runs along the Oxford Road area of the city - creating 25,000sq m of floor space for the growth of technology and media companies. The scheme occupies a prominent site between Manchester University and Hulme.

In all, the changes will mean the amount of space will be increased to 47,000sq m with the masterplan being carried out in phases over the next decade.

MSP was founded back in 1984 and has a total of 132 tenants across four sites in Manchester and Salford.
