Norman Foster
Zaha Hadid misses out in 2012
Norman Foster is the only architect listed in the Sunday Times Rich List 2012.
Foster, who owns a 45% stake in Foster & Partners, fell some 50 places to 501, with his wealth estimated at £150 million.
James Dyson, RCA industrial design graduate, came in at number 22 on the annual list with a fortune of £2.65 billion, an increase of £1.2 billion compared to last year.
Zaha Hadid, who last year featured on the list for the first time, did not make the cut in 2012.

Old roger is very very Rich ! Hurray.! He will be richer next year too. Poor architects who want such loot have to be politicians too if they want to have some greens in their miserable stiff lives to buy plane and be pilots too. Learn abour pink slipst money and influence if you want to be like old roger, Starring at computer screens and cramming BIM dross won;t help. But then again you all do it for love, So keep loving your unpaid overtimes and pink slips
"Sir" Norman Foster
"Lord" Norman Foster actually, his Peerage takes precedence over the Knighthood...
Didn't he have to give up his peerage because he lives in switzerland?
Poor Zaha must have spent so much on publicity she missed the list!
He kept his title - he just can't sit in the House or vote.
Considering the longevity of our products when compared to the likes of hedge fund brokers and bankers, it is a shame there are not more architects on the list.
The whole concept of the "Times RIch List" is disgusting, no more so than now when so many people are struggling to make ends meet and so many architects are losing their jobs. I mean- who cares who's the richest?
But how many made the Metro Poor List ....
Really?? He’s an Architect!!! I thought bean counter covered his input these days??? So that’s one for them and nine for me........!
