Shopping centre revamp linked to Crossrail arrival

Stock Woolstencroft has submitted plans to Ealing Council for a redevelopment of a shopping centre in west London.

The Oaks Shopping Centre in Acton is being revamped by landowner Acton Regeneration Company which wants to add a 5,000sq m supermarket, increase parking and add 146 homes, including mews houses.

The planned work is designed to be completed in time for the arrival of Crossrail train services in 2018.
