Alan Yentob and Robert Stern included in judges
BBC creative director Alan Yentob and US architect Robert Stern have been named as members of this year’s Venice Biennale jury.
The pair will be joined by Dutch architect Wiel Arets, Italian architect Benedetta Tagliabue and German journalist and curator Kristin Feireiss.
Biennale director David Chipperfield recommended the jury members, and the decision was ratified by the biennale board of directors, chaired by Paolo Baratta.
The international jury will choose winners for the Golden Lion for best national participation, the Golden Lion for best project in the international exhibition and the Silver Lion for a promising young architect in the international exhibition.
Robert Stern has been elected as chair of the jurors.
