Flat plate solar thermal system from Redland
Roofing company Redland has launched a flat plate solar thermal system that sits flush with roof tiles and comes with a 15-year weather-tight guarantee.
It has a 4sq m collector area with a silvered finish that reflects sunlight onto copper pipes attached to a water storage tank.
One unit can provide up to 70% of the average three-bed household’s hot water needs. The product is the latest offering from Redland’s research and development team at Monier Technical Centre.
